1. Scope of Services
Tri-Cities IT provides managed IT services, technical support, cybersecurity services, monitoring, consulting, infrastructure management, and related technology services to business clients and authorized users.
These Terms apply to:
- All service agreements
- Website use
- Email, phone, and SMS communications
- Support and ticketing systems
- Remote access and monitoring tools
2. Communications & Electronic Consent
By providing contact information to Tri-Cities IT, you consent to receive communications related to service delivery, support requests, account management, security alerts, and operational notifications. This includes email, phone calls, and SMS messaging.
Consent to receive communications is not a condition of purchasing services.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Program Purpose
SMS messages are used strictly for operational and support-related communications, including ticket updates, account alerts, service outages, and security notifications. We do not use SMS for marketing.
Opt-In Methods
- Written Managed Service Agreements
- Service onboarding forms
- Verbal consent during support interactions (documented)
- Web forms or portals
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on support activity and account events.
Fees
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
Opt-Out & Assistance
Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Opt-out requests are honored promptly.
Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Appropriate Hours
Messages are sent during reasonable business or operational hours except during security incidents, critical outages, or emergencies.
Age Requirement
SMS services are intended for individuals 18+ or authorized representatives of client organizations.
4. Acceptable Use
- Provide unauthorized contact information
- Abuse or misuse communication channels
- Attempt unauthorized system access
- Interfere with services or monitoring systems
5. Intellectual Property
All content, systems, documentation, and processes used by Tri-Cities IT remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Communication delays
- Carrier delivery failures
- Events outside our control
Liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 12 months for services, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Tri-Cities IT against claims arising from unauthorized use of contact information, violation of these Terms, or misrepresentation of consent.
8. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of changes.
